Imran Khan Ayesha Gulalai episode- men turn to slut shaming if spurned

Pakistani ace cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan was recently accused of sexual harassment of a fellow lawmaker. When 28-year-old Ayesha Gulalai Wazir the youngest Member of the National Assembly from his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) spoke out against it she was slut shamed by the members of PTI

The young, beautiful and outspoken Ayesha Gulalai had alleged that Imran Khan, 64, had hinted towards tying the knot in the texts sent to her, which also included lewd messages. PTI’s spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry hit back with slut shaming. He accused her of taking 50 million rupees for defaming Khan. He also added that Wazir’s sister, Maria Toorpakai, who is an internationally renowned squash player, wears “nikkar” (shorts) while playing the game ( Wearing shorts in Pakistan is supposedly immoral). Prime Time TV anchors of Pakistan then swooped down and kept asking Ayesha Gulalai with a smirk in the face “Do you want to marry Imran Khan?”
